Welcome back to our house painting tips and hints blog. Dipping your paintbrush and then wiping the paint off on the edge of the bucket is common, however, is not very efficient. It is better to leave more paint on the brush by dipping it about an inch into the paint and just patting the brush against the opposite side of your pail.
With this much paint on the brush, you will be able to cover more surface before needing to reload on your paint. Also, make sure you buy a good quality paint brush that does not shed its bristles, as there is nothing worse than picking out bristles from wet paintwork.
